Blog Inglés 4 - Sara Jerez

  Well, I am not sure about what is my dream job because my career have many areas, but I like so much the investigation journalism. In fact this year I have that class and I am doing an investigation about mining pollution and I really enjoy working on environmental issues, so maybe I could be an environmental journalist. T here was a time when I dreamed of working in National Geographic or Greenpeace.   On the other hand, I also like topics like culture, arts or music, I always imagine working in a magazine, where I can write journalism from a more critical perspective of this things.   Something else I would like to work on, that has nothing to do with my career is something related to the plastic arts, because I love drawing and painting and I think I do it right so maybe I will study illustration after finish this career, or not, im not sure but it would be nice. I always post my drawings on Instagram and sometimes I made videos of my acrilic paintings....

  It´s difficult to me chose a favorite movie or series, but this time i will talk about The OA, my favorite series from Netflix. The OA it's a Netflix original series created and produced by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij. The story is about Praire, one girl who appears after having been missing for seven years. Now he calls himself "OA" and has regained the sight he lost before his adoption, but he refuses to tell the FBI and his adoptive parents where he was and how his sight was restored. The OA is a series that blows your mind, the plot is really good same as the characters, it's one of those series that catches you quickly and you have to be very attentive to understand it. ¡It is the type of series that I like the most! I think The OA is one of the best series made by Netflix, is not like the others about teenagers but was canceled in 2019  because it didn't have many viewers.  My Pet My dog's name is Mio, like Mia but his a boy and my grandmother chose the name. Some years ago my parents divorced, so me and my brother go to visit my father all the weekends at my grandmother's  house, who adopted the dog after finding him in the street when he was a baby. In that time, the best part of visit my father was see the dog, he is very loving and playful and over time he started to follow us. When we were leaving he cried and from monday to friday he was waiting for my brother outside the Kindergarden. Finally, my mother and grandmother decided to keep us because he suffered a lot. Mio live with us almost 9 years, we love him and even sometimes he sleeps with my mother and stepfather although the couch is his real bed. He is very special for us because is part of the family, is like the baby of the house, even my mom call him son.   The best holidays ever for me it was summer 2016 when I finished highschool. That summer i spent a lot time with my friends, we went very often to the beach in Los Vilos city, we made sleepovers almost every weekend and we tried to see each other every day. I guess we didn't want to split up when classes started, because we all go to different universities. That summer I also worked in a cactus greenhouse with a friend of my mom and her daughter, they are very good people and I really enjoyed the afternoons watering and selling cactus. Some days I also took care of a baby, his name is Baltazar, he was a lot of fun, although sometimes it was difficult to feed him because he did not like vegetables very much. I had a lot of money that summer,  when I wanted to go out I didn't have to ask my mom for money ¡that was the best part! I have many anecdotes from that summer, I will always remember it
